At your current registrar, turn off the domain lock.

Get the transfer code
Ask your current registrar for the EPP or auth code.

Start the transfer
Enter your domain and code in our cart and pay for the transfer.

Approve it
Approve the email from the registry. We let you know when it’s done.
Transfer prices
Paid once when you transfer. For .com and most other endings, a transfer also adds a year to your domain.

Will I still own my domain after transferring it to Hostking?
Yes. Transferring only changes who manages the domain — it stays registered in your name.
Why is the renewal price higher than the first year?
The first-year price is a promotional rate for paying annually up front. The renewal is our standard catalogue price, and we print it on every plan card rather than hiding it in the terms, so there are no surprises in year two.
